Praveen Amre named Assistant Coach of Sahara Pune Warriors
The new IPL Team, Sahara Pune Warriors have appointed Pravin Amre as an Assistant Coach for the team. Amre joins former Australia coach Geoff Marsh as Primary Coach and former England all-rounder Dermott Reeve as Additional Coach in the coaching role for the team.
Pravin Amre who has an experience as coach of Mumbai Ranji Trophy team as well as India A team is well known for his coaching credentials. He has played 11 test matches and 37 ODI matches in the early 1990s for India. He was the coach of the Mumbai Indians team in the second edition of Indian Premier League – IPL 2009.
It is reported that Pravin Amre is really excited about his new role as Assistant Coach of Pune Warriors and is open to the challenges that will be coming ahead.
