Chennai Super Kings have had an exception 2010 when they won both the IPL as well as the Champions League T20 championships. The world cup winning team captain M.S. The Chennai Super Kings have lost two huge players in Muttiah Muralitharan and Matthew Hayden and though it seems to be a huge loss may not be actually as bad. Hayden did not look at his dominating form last season while they have got young and talented Suraj Randiv to replace Muralitharan.

Chennai have included talented pacers Nuwan Kulasekara and Tim Southee for the new season. Both exceptional seam bowlers will only bolster Chennai's bowling department. Apart from this they have picked Dwyane Bravo who is arguably one of the best all rounder in the modern game.
