Kings XI Punjab the IPL franchise who was terminated by the BCCI along with Rajasthan Royals a few days back has lost its second chief executive in three years. Anil Srivatsa who had joined Kings XI Punjab about a year back has left the team by mutual consent. Srivatsa however stressed that his resignation had nothing to do with the events surrounding the subsequent expulsion of the team.
Srivatsa told that he was aware of rumors about BCCI planning to expel Kings XI Punjab a long time back, but nobody took them seriously. He sad he was highly disappointed at the BCCI's decision and said he hopes that things would improve in the future and it does not affect the IPL.
