IPL Governing Council to meet to discuss Gavaskar's role in Kochi

BCCI has stated that it is unaware of former India captain Sunil Gavaskar's links with the IPL Kochi Team. Sunil Gavaskar, who was a member of the Indian Premier League's Governing Council just a few weeks ago was removed from the council by BCCI a few weeks ago.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India is scheduled to meet on 28th October in Nagpur to decide the Kochi team's fate.and it is believed that they will also discuss Gavaskar's alleged involvement with the Kochi Team.

IPL Kochi Franchise has said that they have roped in Gavaskar in an advisory capacity by the franchise, after he was ousted from the governing council.
